Picture Perfect

Sorry, I realized I only had two saved :P Well here's the first one anyways. I hope you like it :) ~
The cold nipped at my un-gloved fingers as I stepped out of the car. It was the perfect landscape; something photographers would only dream of feasting their eyes upon. It was truly a fairy-tale scene. The trees seemed to sparkle in the light that reflected off their snow covered branches. Despite the cold weather, the lake hadn’t frozen over, but instead, shone a hue of greens and blues. My eyes widened at the frost covered flowers that somehow survived this cold, bitter climate. Sebastian, my assistant smiled as he climbed out the driver’s side. This was a special place that he had discovered as a child. It was a great honour that he would bring me here. I started to snap away at the beautiful water, whose colours seemed to contrast perfectly with the trees in this light.
As we moved further into the forest, the more it amazed me. Roots running through the ground in intricate patterns, weaving and wrapping around wonderfully coloured stones lining a crystal-clear pond, it all seemed too perfect to be real. In the waters reflection, I could see every single aspect of myself, from my blonde-streaked hair all the way down to my hiking boots. There were no fish in the pond, nothing, not even a single leaf dared disturb the calm water.
Past a drape of vines, hidden in the back of the woods, was a cliff, with a perfect view of the mountains. Their perfect peaks covered in a blanket of snow were like nothing I’ve ever seen before. I turned to Sebastian who only smiled, envious of anyone who could’ve had this beautiful landscape growing up. Picture after picture were spent capturing every angel of those mountains. I didn’t want to waste any time gazing out at this scenery.
After some hours, I looked over to see Sebastian sitting down, just staring. I was about to ask him what he was doing until I realized it, looking through the pictures, all of them came up blank. This beauty couldn’t be captured on camera; it was something for your eyes to enjoy. Setting my camera down, I sat down beside Sebastian to look at the descending sun. This, I thought, is a picture perfect moment.
